1. Special Features of PACK CHECKER NH4：

NH4 (Ammonium) is always produced in an aquarium where you keep fish. When your biological filtration system is working properly, it promptly changes NH4 to NO2 (Nitrite) and then into NO3 (Nitrate). By measuring NH4 you can check to see if your biological filtration system is functioning properly.

2. Preautions for Measurement： (Ammonium)

•Only measures the amount of ammonium in water.

•lf half of the Packtube is not filled with water at one go, hold the Packtube with the hole facing up and let some air out. Then, insert into the water and suck some water in again.

•NEVER release the reagent inside the Packtube into the aquarium water.

•The reagent may remain undissolved inside the Packtube. It does not affect the test result. The test should be conducted within the pH range of 5-13 and temperature of

•20-30°C Low water temperature may lengthen measuring times.

•Examine the color result under daylight. Examination could be difficult with some fluorescent lamps and mercury lamps.

•Water without ammonium may still produce a slight change in color. 

•After it changes color, returning the string to the hole will keep the contents from leaking.

•Do not leave the used Packtube undisposed. Wrap it in paper and dispose as combustible waste.

•Once the laminated package is opened, use this product as early as possible. The reagent may deteriorate especially during the summer and rainy seasons depend ing on storage conditions.

3. Precautions for Handling：

•This product contains a small amount of chemical agent. Read this instruction manual before using this product.

•DO NOT release the contents out of the Packtube before or after use. 

•Contents in the tube are a strong alkali. It is dangerous if it gets in your eyes. In case of accidental eye contact, wash the effected eye immediately for 15 minutes and seek medical attention from a doctor even if you feel no pain.

•lf the contents come in contact with your skin or clothes wash away immediately with water. Wash your mouth out if contents get in your mouth.

•lf you swallow the contents or if there are abnormal effects after following the steps above, immediately consult with a doctor. 

•KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Store this product in a cool, dark, dry place.

•Do not leave the used Packtube undisposed. Wrap it in paper and dispose as
combustible waste.
