1. Special Features of PACK CHECKER TH：

Too much calcium ions in the water may disturb plant growth such as inhibiting absorp tion of nutrients, fading the color of new leaves, and decreasing the overall growth of leaves. TH (Total Hardness of water) measures the amount of Calcium and Magne sium ions. Treat with SOFTENIZER if measurements are too high.

4. Coexisting Substances (Total Hardness)：

No effect if contained in less than 1000mg/ or less ..............Ba2+,CH,CN,F,I,K+,Mo+ (Molybdic Acid), Na+, NH4+, NO2", NO3", PO43, SO42,Anionic Surfactant, Phenol

5. Precautions for Measurement (Total Hardness)：

•Measures the Total Hardness (mgCaCO3/L) of Calcium and Magnesium together.

•Cannot measure outside the pH range of 6-10 

•lf half of the Packtube is not filled with water at one go, hold the Packtube with the
hole facing up and let some air out. Then, insert into the water and suck some
water in again. Too much or too little effects the color change.

•The color must be compared after 30 seconds. In case there are interfering ions in the water, it is important to strictly observe the time.

•NEVER release the reagent inside the Packtube into the aquarium water.

•The regent may remain undissolved inside the Packtube. It does not affect the test result.

•Test should be conducted within the water temperature range of 15-40°C.

•Examine the color result under daylight. Examination could be difficult with some
fluorescent lamps and mercury lamp.

•Do not leave the used Packtube undisposed. Wrap it in paper and dispose as combustible waste.

•Once the laminated package is opened, use this product as early as possible. The reagent may deteriorate especially during the summer and rainy seasons depend ing on storage conditions.

•After it changes color, returning the string to the hole will keep the contents from leaking.
